We’re now nearing the end of a successful first year of on-line publication of our “travel guide for visitors to the Chianti Classico wine region of Tuscany” and we’re looking forward to year two. As you can see, our posts provide information for travellers not only to the Chianti Classico wine region lying between Florence to the north and Sienna to the south, but to other parts of Tuscany and also of Umbria, the Italian Region to the east and south of Tuscany. We’ve had lots of positive feedback about the guidance we provide here for tourists travelling in our area, and we look forward to telling you a lot more about things to see and do in Tuscany, as well as about great places to stay during your Tuscan sojourn.
We hope we have guided you to some of the beautiful formal gardens and abbeys of Tuscany, and during the coming year we will have more posts about wine, vineyards and wineries, as well as Tuscan culinary specialities – meaning TUSCAN FOOD! Cooking lessons, olive oil tasting and wine tours are all coming up.
Here is one of our more general posts with useful information for first-time visitors to Chianti:
